Celebrating One Year Blogiversary Blog Hop

This month’s blog hop is VERY special. Not only are celebrating one year “Blogiversary”, but joining us this month is none other than Shelli Gardner, the Cofounder and Board Chair of Stampin’ Up! It’s been one year since we started this blog hop. I am so grateful to have met this great group of stampers who are so creative and inspirational. I hope you enjoy this months theme of celebrations, and most especially the inclusion of Mrs. Shelli Gardner!

Celebrating One Year Blogiversary

Since it is our one year anniversary, our theme this month is “Happy Anniversary” or a card of Congratulations. I do have a few cards to showcase for you today.

The first of these cards showcases the smallest flower in the Grateful Bunch Photopolymer Stamp Set. The coordinating punch used for this stamp set is the Blossom Bunch Punch. The three shades of blue used for this card were Night of Navy, Marina Mist, and Pool Party.

The lines were drawn using a ruler with a Black Stampin Write Marker. The Happy Anniversary sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set fits perfectly in the lower right corner of this card.

More Happy Anniversary Cards…

I saw a card created by Mary Fisch of Stampin Pretty and felt it would be the perfect layout for an anniversary card. The Botanical Builder Framelits Bunch was used to for the vine cut out portion of these cards. I then used the Banners For You Stamp Set with the coordinating Banners Framelits for the sentiment.

For this particular card, I used Sahara Sand, Island Indigo, and Sweet Sugarplum cardstock. I then used the negative space of the card to layer the leaves.

This card is basically the same, but uses Flirty Flamingo cardstock instead of Sweet Sugarplum. I also used the Botanical Builder Framelits to cut out the entire vine for the top of the Sahara Sand layer.

  1. There is some precision crafting here today! Wow those clear crisp perfect lines- somehow I would have smeared to slipped or slid the ruler! and then you piece in those petals! insanely acurate-I surely would have lost a petal or two in my chaos of creative clutter I call a desk! I am humbled to you accuracy! and Oh they are beautiful too!

  2. I love how you used the positive and negative die cuts from the Botanical Builders dies, Jodi! Great idea 🙂 Happy ‘blogiversary’ to us! 🙂

  4. Wow, I never bought the Grateful Bunch stamp set, Jodi, but I love how you did this card, even by drawing in the lines yourself, that’s bold! What an awesome blogiversary for us all this month! Hugs, Crystal
