We love being up-to-date with technology in our household. We have a Roku Streaming TV, wireless network, and bluetooth speakers. Now, we also have crystal clear streaming thanks to Chromecast Audio.

Chromecast Audio plugs into your speaker, which has to have an amplifier. It then uses the apps on your phone (laptop or tablet) and your WiFi to produce crystal clear hi-res sound. With the use of Chromecast Audio, you can easily stream millions of songs, radio stations, and podcasts through apps such as Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Google Play Music. However, you can get the full list of compatible apps at Chromecast’s App Page.
I use my bluetooth speaker all the time, but now I don’t have to actually pair with my bluetooth. In addition to that, the sound quality is at a whole new level with Chromecast. What’s really nice too is, if you do not have wireless speakers, this allows your speakers to become wireless.
Once you have the Chromecast device connected to your speaker, you will then want to install the app to your phone or make sure you have the most recent version of the Google Chrome Browser on your laptop or tablet.
Easily synchronize your music throughout your home by grouping your Chromecast Audio devices together so you can listen to the same song on multiple speakers. I love this since I am usually all over the house, and don’t want to turn the music up high enough to hear it everywhere.
Also, you can easily pause or change the volume from anywhere in the home. Lastly, multitask without any disruption in your sound quality. While streaming, you can text or call without interrupting what’s playing or draining your battery.
Have you had a chance to try Google Chromecast Audio? If so, how was your experience?
