I’m a little behind on my Paper Pumpkin giveaways, but here’s the December 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit. This kit is amazing, and super fun. Not only will the card makers enjoy this kit, but also the scrapbookers!
December 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit
The December Paper Pumpkin kit comes with everything you need to create a small memory book for any year. I’ve realized my biggest challenge is either not having enough photos or the quality of the photo is not the best.
Here is what comes in the kit:
- Another Great Year Rotary Stamp
- Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker
- 18 sheets double-sided patterned paper (3 each of 6 designs)
- 8 printed window sheets
- 2 silver foil sticker sheets
- 3 printed sticker sheets
- 1 roll designer washi tape
- 2 silver jump rings
Lately, I have been considering starting with Project Life through Stampin’ Up. Since it looks great and seems easy to use, I feel it would very doable.
Initially, when my kids were babies, I had a plan to create a scrapbook for each each kid. That did not work out so well. The scrapbook was purchased when Megan, now 13, was a baby. One one page is complete! Since it takes more time than I have to create a great looking scrapbook, Project Life would be something more manageable. Plus, Stampin’ Up sells some wonderful kits.
Okay, I digressed a bit there! Back to the December Paper Pumpkin Kit. 😊 All of my photos are taken with my phone, which are backed up to Google Photos. This is a great service to have in place. Should your phone ever disintegrate, you won’t worry about losing all of your photos.
My January and February Layout
Here are my January and February spreads for 2016.
The pictures are printed from our home printer. This allowed me to not only edit each picture, but also not feel overwhelmed with a stack of photos in front of me.
The rest of my February spread is below. To the right, I have one of the printed window sheets, followed by a sheet of the double-sided patterned paper. I then attached a half-circle sticker and added the “03” for March with the silver foil stickers.
For only having done a couple of pages for January and February, I love how it is turning out. Selecting and printing the pictures was the most time consuming part of this project. Otherwise, it was super easy to create.
