Mornings are crazy in our household. Getting kids up, dressed and fed each morning for school can be a huge challenge. Not to mention any other mishaps that may occur along the way. One of my biggest challenges we face is breakfast time. None of my children are big breakfasts eaters, however it is the most important meal of the day and it is very important they go to school with happy tummies. I have found the one way to get them to take more of an interest in breakfast is with Nutella.
Nutella Breakfast Ideas
Nutella is a hazelnut spread that not only helps make breakfast healthy, but also helps provide a quick start to the day. There are some great Nutella breakfast ideas, such as a spread on whole-wheat toast, as an apple dip, a banana dip, a spread on a waffle, pancake, bagel, or muffin, and more. Nutella is a healthier option since it can be used in place of a syrup, butter or peanut butter.
Here are some great facts you should know about Nutella:
- If you or your child has peanut allergies, then this is the perfect alternative since this product does not contain any peanuts or peanut ingredients. In fact, it does not even come in contact with peanuts during manufacturing.
- It does not contain any artificial colors or preservatives.
- It is Kosher certified.
- It is gluten-free.
