Oh, the weather outside is frightful, la, la, la, la, la, la, la la… It is pretty darn cold right now in Illinois! Currently it is only 6 degrees, with an 8 below wind chill. Tonight it will be a 0 to 4 above zero with wind chills 10 – 20 below zero! I cannot seem to get warm enough. My hands are always cold as it is, but this weather makes me feel like I have icebergs for hands!
Adding Charm To Your Home
I have always loved the look of freestanding stoves. They make a house look and feel so warm and inviting. They also great at adding charm to your home! There are some beautiful pellet stoves at Harman Pellet Stoves. Harman Pellet Stoves and Inserts are a popular heating alternative among people who wish to reduce their carbon footprint!
Did you realize that using a pellet stove to heat your home costs 44% less than oil, 47% less than electric, and 53% less than propane heat? That is a huge savings! If you see the infographic below you will also notice that biomass fuels are composed of renewable, carbon-neutral products, they are also an extremely eco-friendly option.
Dane Harman designed and built the first Harman Stove in 1979, in an effort to reduce his family’s heating bills. News spread about the stove Harman had built, and orders began pouring in. Today, more than three decades later, Harman now has 36 models of pellet stoves, inserts, and home heating units. They are also the industry leader in home heating solutions.
If you are considering a Harman Pellet Stove, you want to hear this great news! The federal tax credit on 75 percent efficient biomass heating appliances, which expired on Dec. 31, 2011, was reinstated on Jan. 2, 2013. The bill includes a “tax extender” for Internal Revenue Service Section 25C, which provides a tax credit for, among many other things, qualifying biomass-burning stoves! The extender provides a 10 percent tax credit of up to $300 on a qualifying biomass heating appliance purchased between Jan. 1, 2012 and De. 31, 2013!
This is the perfect time of year to add some warmth and charm to your home, and save money! What a great way to do it too, with a Harman Pellet Stove. To keep up with all of their latest information, please “Like” them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter and Pinterest.
