Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust

We are a family who adores pizza!  I think our biggest struggle is accommodating what everyone wants or does not want on their pizza.  Needless to say I was thrilled when offered the Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust gift back to do a post on and host a giveaway.  One of the favorite parts of a pizza night for my kids is making their own pizza.  Of course all 3 have completely different opinions of what should go on their pizza so we normally let them create their own little pizza.

The first store I visited to purchase the Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust did not even carry it, which really surprised me since it is a major chain.  I did, however, find this pizza crust at the second store.  I also purchased all the “fixings” such as, shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage and pizza sauce.  This was a very quick pizza to make.  All that was required was rolling out the dough on to the baking sheet and spreading it to your preferred thickness.  You then popped that in the oven for 10 minutes.  Once it was done in the oven you took it out and put on all of your ingredients, put it back in the oven for another 8 – 10 minutes and voila – your pizza is done!

I rolled the Artisan Pizza Crust out on the rectangular baking sheet that was sent to me, and since it was large enough we had each kid put their ingredients on their section of the pizza.  We got the leftovers then!

You can see from the photo below how everyone did his/her own section of the pizza.  Under Ethan’s cheese was his pepperoni, but then just one tomato and couple pieces of sausage at the top!  :-)

I admit I was a little nervous about the Whole Grain crust of the Artisan pizza since they pick up on different tastes very easily.  But the pizza was absolutely delicious!  The crust had a bit of crunch to it that we all loved.  We all gobbled it up, in fact there were only a few pieces left and both my husband and I really wanted them since it was so good but we were both a little worried that the kids would want more.  We waited until after they were in bed to polish it off!  We were all very impressed with how good this pizza was, and how easy!  This is definitely a pizza we will be making again.
