I will just get this out there right away, I don’t think I could survive without coffee on a daily basis. I love coffee, in fact, not only do I drink it every morning but I love to have a cup every night after the kids go to bed. It’s a little special treat to myself. lol Actually, I do put the fuffy flavored cream in it though – that is probably why it is a treat at night. My husband ruined me on that one. I used to drink my coffee black or with just cream but then he could drink it only with flavored cream. So we started keeping flavored cream in the house and, as they say, the rest is history. Now if I try to drink my coffee black or with just cream, it’s way to bland.
When we purchase coffee we like to buy the 2 pound bags of coffee beans, it is cost effective and ensures that we run out anytime soon. The one problem with buying a large back of coffee is that you have to maintain it’s freshness. After coffee is roasted, multiple factors can break down and degrade the original favor of your coffee. Wanting the full flavor of my coffee, I was excited to try out the Friis Coffee Savor. The Coffee Savor blocks out moisture, light and air to seal in flavor. The Friis Freshness Valve Vents away trapped CO2 gas created during the roasting process. This whole process maintains your coffee freshness week after week!
The Friis Coffee Savor comes with a coffee scoop and 6 valves. The Freshness Valve in the Coffee Savors’ lid needs to be replaced month, but there is a dial on the top to remind you when the valves needs to be replaced. The interior of the Coffee Savor is quite large, it holds a little over one pound of coffee beans.
