I love the November Paper Pumpkin kit, Tis the Season to make Christmas Cards! Before I go any further, I have a confession. I messed up. I tend to use my full-size Stampin’ Ink Pad instead of the Stampin’ Spot that comes in the kit. However, this time I accidentally grabbed the wrong color Stampin’ Ink Pad. Instead of using Pear Pizzazz, I used Old Olive.
I did not realize my mistake until after I had stamped all the trees in Old Olive. In order to use the correct color, I flipped the trees over and used my Stampin’ Write Marker in Pear Pizzazz to color the trees.
Tis The Season
This month, instead of a little orange box arriving at my doorstep, it was a little blue box. I just love how the Paper Pumpkin emblem makes me think of Cinderella’s pumpkin Carriage!
As always, the kit arrives at your doorstep with everything you need to make your projects that month. The only thing that is not included, is the block for the stamps. However, when you order your first Paper Pumpkin Kit, that starter kit does come with a block.
I do like making a couple of cards exactly like the kit initially before I start improvising. However, since I used the wrong color, I ended up improvising somewhat to get the correct color. I honestly wanted to see if there was a huge difference in look and feel too.
Using Old Olive
