Catching Up and Getting Ahead in the Winter 2013 #Blogathon2

BlogathonToday is the kick-off to the Biannual Blogathon Bash. It runs today through 8 am EST Sunday, January 28. This is my second time participating in the Blogathon. Last year when I participated, I felt as though I did get a lot accomplished. That being said, I actually never feel like I get as much done as I really want. With three young children the only thing that is really consistent are the interruptions! 🙂

Over the holidays I fell behind quite a bit. Then when my husband broke his elbow on New Year’s Eve the “being behind” just compounded. I have been on a quest since to not only catch up, but to actually get ahead! Wow, what a sense of joy and relief I would feel if that were the case! Well, that is my intention.

In fact, my goal for 2013 is to get organized and stay organized. I do not feel like I have been doing a very good job of that so far.  However, I have put a couple of things in motion the past couple of days to get there.

Here are my goals for Winter 2013 Blogathon:

  • Plan my Editorial Calendar for the month of February.
  • Write the three posts that are planned for this weekend, plus write and schedule at least two for next week.
  • Work on putting all of my old posts in the correct categories.
  • Tag old posts properly.
  • Enter as many Blogathon mini challenges as possible.

That may be a little over-zealous, but it all really needs to be done.  Given that this is a Blogathon, this is the time to do it!

If you are a blogger, it is not too late to join! It is free, and it is a lot of fun. Click here to join. If you join, make sure you do your Blogathon Kick-Off post and link it up.

Also, while I am trying to get ahead of the game and set up my editorial calendar…I would love to hear from you if there are specific topics you would like me to cover!
