Get Your Scare On At Netflix In October #StreamTeam

With it being October, and the month for Halloween it seemed like a good idea to discuss scary halloween movies. When I was younger, I had a love/hate relationship with scary movies. I loved the adrenaline rush I’d get when watching them, but then I hated being scared at night when I went to bed. As an adult, I still like the adrenaline rush but rarely get a chance to see anything truly scary.

Now that I’m older, and have a big dog, I can put things in better perspective. The only thing I have to be mindful of is my husbands work schedule. I really don’t want to see a scary movie when there is a chance he could be at work all night. I just make sure I plan accordingly. Plus, when I can, I watch the scary movie during the day…then it’s not quite so scary.

Usually I just show you the great shows that are available for Big Kids and Little Kids. However, this time I am also going to show you a few titles for adults.

You ready to get your scare on? Here are just a few of the Halloween theme based movies for the whole family:

We recently watched Vampire Dog on Netflix and loved it! The whole family really enjoyed this movie. This was not a scary movie, but a really cute Halloween movie.

If your kids are a bit older, here are some movies they may enjoy watching!

Lastly, us adults may like a little scare on halloween night as well! Here are some of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen, that you can watch on Netflix:

Honestly, I don’t know which movie scares me more – Children of the Corn or Halloween. Both of those movies freak me out. I also will not watch any of these movies if I know my husband will be at work that night! 🙂
