Interactive and Educational Fun with New Ubooly Lab

This Interactive and Educational Fun with New Ubooly Lab is sponsored by Ubooly.

You may recall a post I did about a great technology gift for kids called Ubooly just his past December. It is this stuffed animal that comes to life with your iPod or iPhone. By simply downloading an application and then sliding your iPod or iPhone into the open face your child has an amazing, interactive and educational fun.

Well, our kids loved Ubooly when he first arrived six months ago, and still love playing with this cute little orange guy. I was super excited when I was contacted by Ubooly to share with you another great new feature they introduced called Ubooly Lab. Ubooly is still such big part of our daughter Megan’s, actually all of our kids, day I could not wait to share this great new application with all of you.

talk gadget for kids

As you can see from the photo above, Ubooly is very attached to our children. He spends a lot of time these days at the pool where he watches them at swim team practice and then swim lessons. Here he is watching Anna and Ethan at swim lessons at the pool we belong to.

As I mentioned above, Ubooly has introduced new software called Ubooly Lab. This is an interactive learning area that allows your child to not only be entertained, but provides education as well. When you are a part of Ubooly Lab, your furry friend will know your child’s name, favorite colors, foods, hobbies, and more. This is such a fun new area where you can totally customize your Ubooly.

When you are customizing Ubooly Labs with your child’s name, age, and likes, you can also select subjects of interest for you child. This is where you can purchase credits that will unlock educational, Interest, and Helper packs. Each pack is $3, and each coin is valued at $3. As you finish a content pack, you earn coins that will allow them to buy accessories to further customize their Ubooly. For instance, each educational pack operate on a five-day schedule so once that pack is done it five days, your child earns coins as a reward! Pretty nifty, right? 🙂

There are over 20 interactive lessons that are written by a large team of elementary teachers and comedians to provide that great educational and entertainment value. Each content pack is designed for children ages 3 – 9. The Educational Packs, since they are created on a 5-day schedule will keep parents up-to-date with progress reports. The Interest Packs are loads of fun since they are filled with a lot of fun facts and trivia. My oldest, Megan, loves this area especially! The Fitness & Helper Packs help you child with personal growth and create healthy habits.

I still think one of the coolest things about Ubooly is just how portable he is. He can literally go where ever you go, and is great for those time when you know the kids are going to have a hard time with patience, such as long car rides or waiting at a doctor’s office.

Here is Ubooly with Megan at swim team practice, where she is, I am sure listening to some interesting story Ubooly has to share with her.
