Make It a Great Day Tuesday

What are you doing to make it a great day today?

I am really trying to get ahead of schedule, and have material written three weeks ahead of time. One of the perks of working from home is spending time with the kids, right? Well, that is not always the case. I seem to be working all the time. I think it is due, in part, it is due to the constant interruptions from the kids. These tend to be from the arguing and constantly asking for something. The other reason is because I do not feel I make good use of my time. I think there is a better way to do things, to make it more streamlined that would allow me to make better use of my time.

Currently I am taking an on-line course called Content Brew. This course is designed to help plan ahead and learn how to keep fresh content. It really has some great information that I have already started to implement. I also feel, in the long run it will help be more organized and help streamline my work. I want to have that time with my family and not feel stressed that I am either behind on work, or not spending enough time with my children.

Over the next couple of weeks I want to take advantage of any nice weather we have to get out with the kids before school starts up again. Some of the plans we have is going to Brookfield Zoo and stopping at the Butterfly Garden while there. Another place I want to bring the kids is to Morton Arboretum. It is a local Arboretum that has beautiful walking and biking paths, plus a fantastic children’s area.

I hope you have a fantastic day and week!
