Multiple Ways To Use One Stamp Set – 5 Card Series

Stamp Sets can be costly, so being able make use of a single set in multiple ways helps justify the expense. One of my favorite stamp sets from the new 2017-18 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, is their new “A Little Wild” set.

Isn’t this the cutest? I adore all the little animals in this set. Plus, they can be used for baby, child, or adult cards. This makes them super versatile.

This card was created using Sahara Sand Cardstock for the base. I then layered it with Tangerine Tango, followed by So Saffron. Next, I stamped the 3 tiny bees from the A Little Wild stamp set in Black Archival Ink. The bees were colored using a Blender Pen and the Tangerine Tango Stampin’ Ink Pad.

It did not show up in these pictures, but I did watercolor the bear using Sahara Sand Ink with an Aqua Painter. It was very subtle, even in person, but I thought it would show up at least a little in the pictures. However, the bear is stamped on Watercolor Paper using Black Archival Ink. Then, using an Aqua Painter, I got the paper slightly wet, and then used the ink pad lid to color the bear. The bee on the bear is painted in So Saffron using a Blender Pen and the So Saffron Ink Pad.

The final touches for this card include a scalloped piece of Tangerine Tango from the layering circles framelits, layered with a Stitched Shapes Sahara Sand. The Bear was popped up using the new Mini Dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped on Whisper White cardstock in Black Archival Ink, then snipped into a banner shape and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly, a So Saffron Enamel dot is added to the banner.
