Productivity Focus Areas to Work On for the Coming Months

Productivity Focus Areas for the Coming Months

Throughout January I was in a Facebook with weekly Live Coaching Sessions called “4 Weeks to a More Productive Life” with Crystal Paine. This class built upon sessions week to week and in the final week, we were to decide upon three productivity focus areas.

Focus Task/Project

The first thing we were asked to do was decide what our focus task or project would be for the next month. Is to finish designing my new website, Perfectly Imperfct, and then have this website routed to that new one. I am re-branding. I actually bought this new site over a year ago! It’s time to make the move. I think I’ve been getting subtle nudges to get this done with hearing the phrase perfectly imperfect lately!

That truly is how we were created to be, imperfect. But through trials and tribulations, we grow and become better. So, given that I am totally imperfect, I thought it would be a good name for my new site.

Focus Area of Learning

Next was deciding on a focus area of learning. That, my friends, is productivity and motivation. I’ve always lacked in these areas, but strive to get some control. The bottom line is, I’m the person responsible for being productive.

Focus Habit

Lastly, my focus habit is continuing to stick with my morning routine that I created during this coaching session. Part of that routine is creating my to do list for the day, which does keep me on track. However, I have to remember to not add to much to my list, otherwise I’m setting myself up for failure.

One of the things I have learned through this session a little bit about myself. I burn out easily. I  need breaks after big projects, so putting just one bit thing on my list is enough. However, it is important that I learn to be okay with that!

I will add, if you ever have an opportunity to take a course with Crystal Paine you’ll love it! This particular Coaching Session was the first of it’s kind. She is planning to make it available again in the future. You can visit her website to see more of her classes and books!

Are there any areas you focusing on improving in the coming months?
