Stealing Moments Together as a Family

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review, a gift code to giveaway, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

As a family, I feel like we do not have an opportunity to be together as often as I would like. With my husband working two jobs, he is often the missing link. Sometimes this reminds of how my family was growing up, but it was my mom who was always at work. At that time we lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Stealing moments together as a family was not always that easy, but what we would do was pack up a camper and spend three weeks camping out on the beach at Grand Isle. There were several families that would join us as well. I remember how much fun my sister and I would have on those trips, and cherish those moments together.

Now that I have a family of my own, I want to create great memories for them as well. We really like to grab ahold of our time together and share what’s good. Welch’s also feels it is important to connect with family and share those special moments, whether it is at home or while on the go. On their website they share great recipes, health and nutrition tips, as well as great information on all of their products.

Some of our most recent family moments that we have been able to enjoy was a camping trip this summer! It was our first camping trip ever as a family. We had a great time, and are looking forward to making this a early summer event. One of the more recent events was a trip to the zoo. We used to belong to the zoo as members, but found we were not getting enough use out of it. When we went a couple of weeks ago, we actually made a day of it! That was the first time we were able to spend the entire day there without kids getting too tired. Lastly, it is just the little things, such as teaching Anna how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! She loves the Welch’s Concord Grape squeeze bottle, and I love that it is all natural and made without High Fructose Corn Syrup!
