Toxin Free Baby Products by Seventh Generation

This Toxin Free Baby Products post is sponsored by Seventh Generation.

Earth Day is upon us! Of course we all want to do things that will help our environment. Each year I try to change out at least one thing we do or use that will help minimize my family’s impact on the earth. Last year I started composting, and changed out my anti-bacterial soap to one that does not contain Triclosan. It seems, now more than ever, companies are starting to add more and more environmentally friendly products to their product lines. However, Seventh Generation is one company that has always been on the cutting edge of creating eco-friendly products. In fact, Seventh Generation has a goal in mind…to make this a toxin-free generation.

Toxin Free Baby Products

Seventh Generation has added to their long list of amazing products, by now including a baby personal care line.  Of course all of the products in this line are all toxin free baby products. Their baby personal care line now includes a Baby Shampoo and Wash and a Baby Bubble Bath. They also have a Natural Nursery & Toy Cleaner, as well as their popular Free & Clear Diapers.

Seventh Generation Free & Clear Diapers do not contain any fragrances, latex, petroleum-based lotions or chlorine processing. That is why they are brown and not white!

The Baby Shampoo & Wash is made with Extra Virgin Oil so that it moisturizes as it cleans. It is tear-free and gluten free. It says it has a light, fresh scent, and it does. It smells so good, and just clean!

The Baby Bubble Bath does not contain any parabens, phthalates or synthetic fragrances. It is gluten free and tear-free. This product also has that amazing light, fresh scent.

You can clean away germs on your babies toys with Seventh Generation’s Natural Nursery & Toy Cleaner. This non-toxic cleaner does not leave any residue, so rinsing is not required. It is hypoallergenic, VOC-free and safe to use on any hard, non-porous surface in your nursery. This includes plastic, painted or sealed wood, glass, granite, stainless steel, and laminate. It even removes odors!

The new baby personal care line is comprised mostly of plant and mineral-based ingredients.

Did you know that the average women applies 515 chemicals to her skin every day and only 10% of these are tested for their effects on human health? Imagine what we’re putting on our baby’s skin!

Today is the day to switch out the baby products you are currently using and start using products by Seventh Generation. This is a way to minimize your family’s impact on the environment and help Seventh Generation reach their goal of a toxin free generation!

You can find out which stores near you carry these products by visiting the Seventh Generation store locator. If you want a specific product, then you may want to look it up by that product. I did notice that there are some products that have a more limited availability.

  7. I don’t have kids, but I have quite a few friends who are starting to have babies, and I’m definitely going to include Seventh Generation products in my next baby gift! I might even look into getting the baby shampoo to use for the dog, since it sounds like it would be overall better for her than harsh pet shampoos that seem to be your only option. Plus it’s tear free, which means I can wash her face easier without worrying about hurting her. 🙂
